Economic reform in China has attracted growing attention from around the world owing to its significance for theory and practice. What has been largely missing in the literature is the temporal dimension, i.e., the changes over time in key variables such as organizational environment, firm strategic adaptations, and the performance implications. In this study, we investigate environment and strategic adaptations 12 years after Tan and Litschert examined these issues in 1990. Following a staged model, the study found that (1) organizational environment and firm strategic adaptations have co‐evolved over time, (2) a new configuration has emerged and is related to improved performance, and (3) such a relationship is moderated by the stage during transition in which firms were founded. The Roles of Innovators and Labor in a Schumpeterian Factor Endowments Based Model of Intra‐industry Trade 下载免费PDF全文
This paper builds a model of Schumpeterian innovation and trade that emphasizes endowments of innovators and labor as a key factor in determining the pattern of trade. The model suggests a strong complementarity between intra‐industry and inter‐industry trade. The pattern of inter‐industry vs intra‐industry trade is analyzed using the Grubel–Lloyd index. The theoretical model predicts that the prominence of intra‐industry trade is a nonlinear function of the ratio of the proportion of world knowledge domestically generated to the domestic share of the world labor supply. Strong empirical evidence for this key result is presented and implications are discussed. 相似文献

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to present a comprehensive view on the associations among polychronicity, job satisfaction, work engagement, and turnover intention within a restaurant context. Using a sample of 252 servers in full-service restaurants, structural equation modeling results found that polychronicity positively linked with job satisfaction, work engagement, and turnover intention. An indirect effect from polychronicity to job satisfaction to turnover intention was found. Results can assist restaurant managers in selecting candidates that best fit their organization. It will also assist employees in determining which career path best matches their personality traits. 相似文献

信息化对制造业升级的影响日益深远,但其影响机制也更加复杂。通过微观、宏观双视角定性论述,借助GMM模型对中国283个城市2004-2014年的面板数据进行定量测度,探讨了信息化对制造业升级的影响机制。结果显示:信息化与制造业升级存在倒U型关系,当信息化程度未跨过风险拐点时,其对制造业升级会产生促进作用;信息化程度跨过风险拐点后,信息化对制造业升级的促进作用呈下降趋势。研究表明信息化并不总是促进制造业升级,信息化是机遇也是挑战,各地区需要因地制宜,结合自身工业化水平来发展信息化。 相似文献

ABSTRACTChinese domestic brands have developed rapidly in recent years, and yet few of them have entered global competition as product or service brands brands with exceptions such as Huawei. In addition, the evolution of Chinese brands has hardly been understood or introduced properly by international business educators. In this article, we identify the development patterns of Chinese domestic brands by using a local hotel brand as an example. Particularly, we examine and discuss how a Chinese brand can be established with specific positioning, brand image, and product offering, as well as how the brand can grow by vertical and horizontal extensions based on balancing market opportunities and the brand’s own capabilities. 从社会网络理论的强弱关系视角对2012-2014年福布斯中国富豪榜的企业家及其企业进行了政治关系的度量,检验了腐败是否会调节政治关系"力量"对企业价值的影响。研究发现,企业家本身所具有的政治关系对企业价值具有明显的正向影响作用,关系的"力量"越强,对企业价值的正向影响就越大;与此同时,腐败的出现会强化政治关系"力量"对民营企业价值的影响。通过分组验证发现,这种"力量"在腐败程度较高环境下更易对企业价值产生正向影响,但在腐败程度较低的环境中,政治关系对民营企业价值的影响很多时候并不显著。 相似文献

We propose a measure of business risk in air travel demand at the route level that can reduce information asymmetry during route development negotiations between tourism destinations and airlines. Aviation-exposed risk (AER) conveys information about the level of uncertainty with regard to air travel demand from an airline’s perspective. Using AER, tourism destinations and air service development teams can evaluate their risks from the perspective of the airline and its network. From there, an assessment can be made as to the value of air services in certain circumstances, including whether a direct underwrite or risk share between airlines and destinations is viable and necessary. By applying a portfolio analysis to an airline’s network, we find evidence that AER does indeed mimic the actual capacity distribution of the network. This provides support for AER as a useful risk measure to be used in practice. 相似文献

[目的]近年来,创新创业的热潮大力兴起,如何对农民双创工作的成效机制进行研究,成为文章研究的重点。通过对农民双创工作中的创业者特征、创业者关系、政策适应与农业农村双创收益机理的研究,找出创业企业绩效演变机理。[方法]收集2017年2—5月重庆24个地区1 855位农民的调查问卷,采用专家评价法对双创收益、创业培训、创业者社会关系和创业政策适应的测量项目进行因子分析。[结果]对农民双创收益的影响因素进行分析讨论,得出学历水平、创业动机、创业风险意识、创业经营模式以及创业培训均对双创收益的提升有促进作用;创业者特征回归分析中R~2值由0.22提升为0.32,ΔR~2的值为0.34,说明自变量对因变量有预测作用;创业者特征对双创收益值为0.329,说明创业者的特征越高,其创业的绩效就越高;创业政策回归分析中R~2值由0.12增加到0.22,ΔR~2的值为0.14,说明自变量对模型有预测能力,且政策越全面有效,对农民的双创收益提升效果越好;创业者社会关系回归分析中R~2值由0.098提升为0.175,ΔR~2由0.175增长为0.433,说明创业者的社会关系越好,农民的双创收益越高。[结论]研究结果说明农业农村双创工作中创业者特征、创业者社会关系以及政策适应可提升创新创业机制的完善,提升双创收益。 相似文献

This study assesses the direct influence of food quality and e-service quality on customer loyalty toward online food delivery (OFD) service and its indirect influence through the mediation of customer satisfaction and perceived value. This study uses a survey of 405 OFD service customers from Bandung, Indonesia. By applying variance-based partial least squares to evaluate the proposed model, this study confirms the direct effect of food quality on online loyalty, but not e-service quality. Further, this study discloses the partial mediation role of customer satisfaction and perceived value on the relationship between both food quality and e-service quality on online loyalty toward OFD services. 相似文献
